Funded by the Big Lottery Fund, See The World Through My Eyes was an exploration of willow and textile with three different groups. Each group of participants shared a common life-circumstance.
The project ran from April to July 2015, culminating in an exhibition of final pieces at Gallery 133, Great Yarmouth.
What we found particularly interesting about this project was that each of the three groups were provided with the same materials and shown the same techniques, but the work produced by each was very different. This reflects the theme of the project, the creative process enabled participants to express something about the way the world looked through their eyes at that time.
